It is free to register. Once registered, members can list as many items as they wish – there is no limit to how many items you can list. A donation is only applicable once a transaction is completed between lender and borrower.
We encourage lenders to lend for free as this is a community service. If the lender requires a payment, this will appear on the listing. Payment is arranged directly between borrower and lender by mutual agreement when collected, returned, or a stage payment.
When the item has been returned to the lender, we recommend a voluntary donation is made to the lenders chosen group. Payment to reebba is a fixed amount per transaction which goes toward administration and running the website, to develop further features to reward and enhance the user experience and in time will be for carbon offset.
Donations to community group are based on 5% of the item replacement value as stipulated by the lender in the item listing. A minimum donation is set at £2.00 and is capped at £25.00. The donation to reebba is a fixed amount of £2.00 per transaction. Examples of the recommended donations is as follows:
